The process is simple: add bookable stays and experiences to your guides and when someone books through them, you get credit.

Booking.com
One of the world’s largest booking platforms for hotels, vacation rentals and unique stays — from budget-friendly options to luxury resorts.
Viator
A popular marketplace for tours, activities and experiences around the world, including guided tours, cooking classes, attraction tickets and local adventures.
Priceline
A travel booking site for hotels, flights and car rental, known for competitive pricing and frequent deals.
How You Earn
You earn when a traveler books a hotel or activity you included in any guide.
Bookings can happen a few different ways:
- From a Guide or Collection: A traveler books a hotel or activity directly from your guide or collection.
- From a Planned Trip: Someone clicks "Plan a Trip" from your guide and later books a stay or activity from that trip.
- From a Shared Trip: You send a trip using Send a Trip, and the recipient books a hotel or activity that was included.
Adding a Hotel
To add a hotel to your guide:
1. Add the Place.
2. Select "Stays."
3. Search for the hotel by name and add it to your guide.
Adding a Viator Activity
To add a Viator activity:
1. Add the Place
2. Select "Activity"
3. Search for the Viator experience by name.
If it doesn’t appear, open the chat and ask for the activity. Then return to your guide and add it.

Getting Paid
Payments are sent to the PayPal or Venmo account connected to your creator profile. Commissions are paid three months after the traveler completes their stay or activity, on the 28th of that month.
Example:
If a traveler checks out on May 15, the commission is typically paid on August 28.
Payment timing also depends on when the booking partner sends the commission to Mindtrip.
Tracking Your Earnings
You can track commissions anytime in your Creator Hub.
That’s where you’ll see:
- Pending commissions
- Completed earnings
- Payment history
Commission Rates
Current creator commission rates are as follows:
Booking.com: 6%
Priceline and Mindtrip: 6%
Viator: 8%
Joined from Thatch?
If you earned commissions through Thatch, you’ll still receive those payments through your Mindtrip creator account (paid via PayPal or Venmo). You can view your commissions in the Creator Hub commissions tab.
Earn When You Book Your Own Travel
You can earn commission when you book your own travel through Mindtrip. Most platforms don’t allow this — but here, you can.
